Black tea is plucked & left in the sun until it is pliable enough to roll without splitting, then placed in a tumbler causing the leaves juices to react to the air & oxidise turning the green leaves black then dried in ovens.

Green Tea
It surprises many people new to tea to learn that green tea and black tea originate from the same exact plant species “Camellia Sinensis”, for green tea, the tea leaves are harvested from the Camellia Sinensis plant and are then quickly heated by pan firing or steaming and dried to prevent too much oxidation from occurring that would turn the green leaves brown and alter their fresh-picked flavour.

Herbal
Herbal tisanes are comprised of herbs, dried fruit & spices, since this style of tea does not contain the traditional tea leaves of the camellia senensis plant they are naturally caffeine free, technically to be considered a Tea you have to use leaves from the camellia sensensis plant.
