Are reservations required?
To avoid disappointment it is wise to make a reservation, particularly at weekends and holidays, however same day bookings are available on a first come first served and you can always call us to enquire.
How long is Tea?
Your sitting for Afternoon Tea begins at your scheduled reservation time, regardless of late arrival, and lasts for 1 hour 45 minutes. We ask that you be mindful of your seating end-time, as we often need to re-set for another tea group arriving after you,
Do you have Parking?
There is on-street parking directly outside and throughout court street as well as the main parking garage adjacent to Town Hall a 2 minute walk away.
Can I split an afternoon tea meal?
Afternoon Tea is an occasion and often a celebration in order for you to best enjoy yours we do not offer the splitting of Afternoon Tea.
Is there a minimum age to attend?
Absolutely not we welcome all ages and even have a dedicated prince & princess afternoon tea for the younger ones in your party.
What if someone in my party is not a tea drinker?
Although with over 100 hundred different teas to choose from we feel everyone would fine “their” Tea however we also serve coffee in a French press.
Do you require a reservation deposit?
For afternoon tea bookings of four or more we do require a deposit of $10 per person and final numbers 24 hours ahead of the booking.
Is there a dress code?
This is your experience and should be enjoyed your way if this is done wearing your finest clothes than fantastic if that is by dressing casually great, all we want is for you to enjoy your visit.
Do you cater for allergies?
We cannot accommodate severe food allergies of any kind. That said we do make Gluten & Dairy-free scones, sandwiches cream teas, afternoon teas and cakes, however these are made on the premises so in the vicinity of non-gluten-free and dairy hence the not accommodating severe allergies as we cannot guarantee 100% separation.
